It’s a sharing concept after all…
The “wedding breakfast” is traditionally the first meal enjoyed by a married couple (and friends, relatives and guests) after they actually get married.
Sorting out how, when and where to arrange the wedding breakfast can be a real nightmare – who eats what, what everyone likes, or doesn’t like – and frequently why there never is a choice of food for the guests?
A quick look at the message board on the Hitched website will demonstrate many of the issues involved.
The Wedding Ideas website suggests in its list Wedding breakfast – 10 top tips to treat your guests to some fab food, “Why not ask for a joint of meat to be served to each table?”
At STONEAGED restaurant in Henley-in-Arden, we can recommend something far more compelling than that…
The STONEAGED wedding breakfast advantage
The concept is based around sharing steaks, fish and vegetarian options which are cooked to perfect by the guests themselves at the table on a hot lava stone.
- The eating experience is in itself a great talking point.
- There’s no pressure to eat quickly before the food goes cold – everyone cooks and eats at their own pace, leaving plenty of scope for that all-important social interaction.
- And everyone gets to order what they actually want to eat, cooked exactly as they like it!
Add to that, the exceptionally high quality of the food, the wonderful, friendly staff – and the fact that STONEAGED is located in the amazing surroundings of the White Swan Hotel (built around 1550) which has a unique history.
Where else can you enjoy such a celebration at a venue visited by both King Charles II and Samuel Johnson…?
